POSITION SUMMARY:The E&ampampI Engineer is responsible for the ensuring that all process instrumentation, control monitoring, equipment inspections, SCE inspections and validations, and relevant operational audits, are carried out in accordance with all HOCL and regulatory requirements.The E&ampampI Engineer will also monitor established KPIs regarding process controls, improve and KPIs to ensure maximum efficiency, issue timely reporting as stipulated per relevant Integrity Management strategies and procedures, and ensure that all relevant data is collected, evaluated, cataloged, and disseminated accordingly utilizing SAP and ancillary software.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and describe 3 – 7 core areas of responsibility.(add more rows as needed)Estimatedime· Monitor and track the ESD functionality and recommend corrective actions as needed5· Maintain SIL / SCE database5· Coordinate and participate in process system internal and regulatory audits, and follow-up actions10· Identify and develop options, modifications to improve availability of the various units, enhance safety, and improve the economic performance of the facility5· Troubleshoot control systems and equipment controls and operability issues to achieve a technical solution10· Provide technical assistance and support to Maintenance and Operations personnel in monitoring instrumentation and control systems performance Including:Electrical RCA and documentation input to Meridium,Instrumentation / Electrical system performance and tracking on the CEP including IOW trending / control monitoring utilizing Spotfire and issuing action plans to correct deviationsSpares QC and Auditing – issue recommendations for spares preservationOversight of maintenance requirements and corrective actionsMaintain instrument and controls systems technical design standardsPrepare guidelines for nonstandard operations40· Develop conceptual scope of projects and determine engineering requirements to meet MOC requirements.Establish criteria, develop economic feasibility studies and evaluate engineering design and procedures10· Prepare work scopes for HOCL personnel, contractors and consultants for modifications and studies5· Manage project/modifications activity and track performance against expectations5· Lead, co-ordinate, or participate in Risk Analysis, Hazops, JSA, PHAs, as required.5
