ROC is4> ESSENTIAL DUTIES： 1. Conduct reservoir engineering evaluations leading to the optimum development and production of established fields and discoveries； document results of work； prepare reports, displays and presentations to illustrate these findings. 2. Undertake evaluations of assigned project areas to ertain overall hydrocarbon prospectivity. 3. Day-to-day activities include active management of the pools of the Zhao Dong Field including； Optimisation of production and injection performance； Participation in oil and gas reserves estimation； Production forecasting through (but not limited to) a primary work focus of reservoir simulation. 4. Act as the focal point for Roc Oil (Bohai) activities related to reservoir simulation, including liaison with other ROC offices, joint venture participants and software vendor representatives. 5. Develop corporate skills base. 6. Correspondence with Joint Venture participants (as appropriate) on the technical project aspects 7. Interact with other professionals within ROC, particularly within the subsurface, production, and drilling disciplines. 8. Participate in meetings and monitor activity to assist management and Joint Venture participants in making informed decisions. 9. Recommend acquisition or utilization of appropriate reservoir management software. 10. Contribute to HSE planning/ution to promote a safe and environmentally sound work place and project. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED： a) Formal Education/Training &#8226； Degree in Petroleum Engineering – or similar discipline with related industry experience b) Necessary or useful knowledge, skills & experience 1. 15+ years petroleum industry experience actively applying the fundamental principles of reservoir engineering and reservoir management to optimize petroleum production. 2. Reservoir/well management background, with strong practical experience and a proven history, in an operating capacity； Field development and production activities； Strength in interpretation of well test data and data evaluation 3. Expert-user qualification in Eclipse (or similar) reservoir modeling software 4. Experience in China and the producing areas of China, particularly Bohai Bay 5. Experience in the practical application of classical reservoir engineering techniques, production data acquisition and analysis methods, formal reserves determination methods, using engineering software as appropriate. 6. Project management, including economic analysis 7. Preparation of budgets and work programmes, including production forecasting 8. Strong understanding of well completions, artificial lifts and surface production operations together with the ability to interact with other staff and contractors to optimize. 9. Experience in well workovers and typical procedures in an offshore environment 10. Knowledge of secondary and tertiary recovery procedures and artificial lift technology 11. Some understanding and working experience of risk analysis. 12. Ability to work in a team, work to project goals and deadlines and to prepare and present results in a coherent and timely manner.
